Getting a bird isn’t nearly as common as adopting a cat or dog; so many don’t know what the first step is for bringing a feathered friend into the household.
Fledgling was created to help potential adopters find what bird is the best fit for them, what they’ll need to keep a bird in good health, and where to go if they need a helping hand. Once they know all the facts, they’ll be ready to leave the nest and become a new parrot parent.
The biggest part of the Fledgling package is a website, My Fledgling. Other components include cards to distribute to rescues, veterinarians and pet stores; a coffee table book of rescue bird photographs that can be sold for fundraising, t-shirts for volunteers, and tote bag with information for potential adopters/donaters.
The entire system and branding was done by myself and partner Morgan Stockton.
